Whether you work in an agency or on your own in private practice, you may have way too many chaotic client details taking up space in your brain. Or you might feel super stuck on a case and want to get someone else’s perspective on it. Or better yet — multiple perspectives!
A lot of us stop getting as much consultation once we graduate/get licensed, which can lead to burnout, stunted creativity and feelings of loneliness and overwhelm. Consider this your invitation to tap into the collective conscious and unconscious minds of your peers with Community Group Consultation, offered by the Rochester Area Group Psychotherapy Society (RAGPS).
We have a structure we’ll use to work through 2-3 case presentations. Come prepared to present a case you’d like help with, and/or to brainstorm and work together with colleagues. RAGPS board members will co-lead to keep us on time and on track. And the best news: It's only $10.

You don’t need to work with couples or run groups to benefit from these insights! This workshop is ideal for individual, couples, and group therapists, as well as anyone interested in deepening their understanding of relationship dynamics.
Have you ever thought about running a therapy group for couples? Now is the perfect opportunity to expand your skills with this engaging and transformative modality. In this workshop, you'll gain the tools, confidence, and knowledge to work with couples’ dynamics or offer group therapy for couples, while learning an effective and dynamic model for leading them confidently.
Throughout the conference, we will dive into the unique integration of Modern Analysis and Relational Life Therapy (RLT), a highly impactful approach to couples therapy that emphasizes mutual respect, deep honesty, and personal growth. RLT provides the framework for understanding maladaptive relational styles and how they hinder emotional maturity. In turn, modern group analysis helps to transform these ineffective narratives into meaningful connection.
At the conclusion of this workshop, the attendee will be able to:
Join us for this comprehensive and interactive exploration of how to help couples build healthier, more authentic relationships—while expanding your skillset in this rewarding area of couple group psychotherapy.
