Ongoing, most monthly groups of 1-2 hrs duration available in Monroe,
Chemung, Livingston, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates
Counties. Groups offer support for: Caregivers of People with Dementia,
People Coping with Losses, People with Dementia, Christians, Spouses and
Partners of People with Dementia, Caregivers of those with a developmental
disability plus dementia. Time-limited: 1. Caring for an Aging Loved One
Seminar/Support Group (six weekly sessions, each 3 hours) offered by Mercy
Resource Center with the Aging, 2. new weekly (six session, 1.5 hours each)
journaling group for caregivers and 3. Early Stage support group (six weekly
sessions, 1.5 hrs each) for both people with dementia and their care
partners. |
