Group Services: Time-limited groups for hetero Black men/women, hetero Latino women/men to reduce risk of HIV/AIDS infection through condom usage. Time-limited group for HIV+ men & women to reduce risk of HIV transmission. Weekly group for men & women abusing substances to reduce HIV transmission. Time-limited twice weekly groups for 14-18 yr. olds to reduce spread of HIV/AIDS. Ten-wk group for inmates in State Correctional Facilities to reduce spread of HIV/AIDS infection.

Group Services: Community Support Weekly "Drop-in" Groups are available. Closed weekly groups include: Finding Balance; Helping Children Cope with Change; Dealing with Anger About Abuse; Handling Fear and Anxiety. Transitional support groups include 1. Knowledge Is Power groups which share information on self-sufficiency and healthy relationships and include guest speakers from area agencies and 2. Domestic Violence educational groups - interactive groups with participation through discussion. New groups are forming on an ongoing basis.

Group Name: Alzheimer's Association
Group Services: Ongoing, most monthly groups of 1-2 hrs duration available in Monroe, Chemung, Livingston, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates Counties. Groups offer support for: Caregivers of People with Dementia, People Coping with Losses, People with Dementia, Christians, Spouses and Partners of People with Dementia, Caregivers of those with a developmental disability plus dementia. Time-limited: 1. Caring for an Aging Loved One Seminar/Support Group (six weekly sessions, each 3 hours) offered by Mercy Resource Center with the Aging, 2. new weekly (six session, 1.5 hours each) journaling group for caregivers and 3. Early Stage support group (six weekly sessions, 1.5 hrs each) for both people with dementia and their care partners.
